Confirm Your Bed Size Before Ordering

  • Close the tailgate fully before measuring.
  • Measure the inside distance from the bulkhead (cab side) to the inner edge of the tailgate.
  • Match your measurement to the "Body Type" in the fitment table above.
Note: Do not measure the exterior of the truck bed. If your measurement is in inches (e.g., 67.1"), match it to the corresponding foot measurement (e.g., 5'7").

Is a hard tonneau cover still useful if I regularly haul large or oversized items?

Instead of clunky external drain tubes, it uses an integrated EdgeFlow sealing system that channels water naturally through the rails. That means a cleaner install and fewer exposed parts over time.

It says "500 lbs Limit". Can I strap cargo on top of the cover and drive?

The ToughFold T1 features a 500-lb static load capacity, meaning its reinforced FRP panels can easily withstand heavy snow loads or support weight while parked (such as when setting up wilderness observation gear). However, it is not designed to haul or strap down cargo on top while driving. All driving cargo should be secured inside the truck bed.

Are hard tonneau covers waterproof? How well does it protect against rain, snow, and car washes?

The ToughFold T1 is built for serious weather defense. Hard folding covers are a massive step up from soft covers. It uses interlocking panels and a multi-layer sealing system to help block out rain, snow, and high-pressure washes. Will it fit my bed liner or require modifications?

Will the cover block my third brake light or rear camera when folded up?

Yes, partially. In the fully upright position, the panels sit behind the cab and may obscure the third brake light or a cab-mounted rear bed camera depending on your truck’s height and configuration.
